SOYA ON DAVIS APARTMENT HOTEL, Melbourne – A Smart Stay in the City

I was pleasantly surprised by the room size, larger than I expected. While the room standards were more reminiscent of a three-star motel from the past, everything I needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The location was excellent, offering great value for the convenient accommodation. However, the noise from the adjoining room was a downside that persisted until the early hours of the morning, not matching the portrayal on the website.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was super helpful. The location was perfect, close to everything, and the dining experience was enjoyable. However, there were some minor cleanliness issues, and the stale cigarette smell was a downside.

Staying at this hotel was a great inexpensive way to experience South Yarra. The rooms suited my husband and me really well, being clean, comfortable, and featuring enormous windows that brightened our day with the afternoon sun and a view of the lush plane trees in full leaf. The location was excellent for exploring both the MCG and the main street of South Yarra. The staff were an absolute pleasure, accommodating, and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Despite the proximity to the transport hub, the quiet tree-lined street provided a peaceful retreat. The dining experience, particularly enjoying homemade jams in the morning out on Toorak Road, was a lovely touch. However, the hotel could consider expanding the dining options. Overall, a great value for money stay with positive highlights and minor areas for improvement.
